Too often we over-complicate life and create stumbling blocks for ourselves and others. Jesus in our Gospel this Sunday urges us to keep things simple and get back to basics. It ought to remind us of that simple message from Micah:
The Lord asks of you only this, to act justly, to love tenderly and to walk humbly with your God
